Monday we got a garage floor. Woo Hoo. Last Friday the grading of the floor was finished as well as the foam insulation and tubing for the in-floor heat. A lot was done in a little time but the coordinator (yours truly) did a great job working schedules and jobs so everything was ready for an early Monday morning pour. On Friday we also dug and poured the post holes for the deck, porch, and dog kennel area. You will all be happy to hear that the dog kennel will be supported by two 18 inch concrete filled sauna tubes. A little overkill but considering the location of the kennel we feel much safer knowing the slab wont sink, settle, or slide off the nearly 9 ft drop below them (plus it was actually pretty cheap to put them in.). We did start construction of the great wall of trophy lake. Only a few rocks were placed but they were the cornerstone rocks and very integral to the overall wall so much care was taken with them. Hopefully Friday and Saturday of this week we can get a few more placed and post a pic. Hope everyone is well. Would love to hear from ya.
